Photos, AI Processing, And Service Providers
Vitola uses cloud infrastructure, authentication, database, storage, subscription, and AI model providers to deliver app functionality.
- The iOS app uses the camera or photo picker for user-selected cigar images. Vitola does not need broad photo-library access to operate the scan flow.
- Selected cigar photos, search text, collection context, and concierge messages may be sent to AI model providers, including Google Gemini, when needed for scan, search, and concierge features.
- Service providers process information only as needed to provide, secure, store, analyze, or support Vitola.
Tracking, Selling, And Advertising
Vitola does not sell personal information and does not use cigar app data for third-party advertising tracking.
- The public landing page may use Vercel Web Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, and Google Analytics to understand aggregate visits, App Store link clicks, and page performance. Google advertising storage and ad personalization are disabled by default.
- Vitola may also send first-party landing-page events to its own server endpoint for aggregate operations and search-performance troubleshooting.
